The mandate of Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) department is to provide support in preclinical development program of the company, in terms of in vitro and in vivo drug screening. The experience of scientists in product development runs across a spectrum of therapeutic areas such as cancer, diabetes, critical illnesses, etc. employing variety of assay methodologies.
Assay Development.
Proper optimization, validation of assays is a critical step for any Assay Development. CMB department has expertise and a well-developed infrastructure with bio-safety cabinet, inverted microscope, autoclave, multi-scan plate ELISA reader, electrophoresis apparatus, UV-Spectrophotometer, Photo doc-imaging system and many other instruments to carry out screening of drugs using in vitro system and finding exploring their mode of action.
State-of-the-Art Laboratory
In the state-of-the-art laboratory, scientific experiments are conducted by highly qualified researchers using well defined SOPs and standardized protocols under GLP compliance. RBPL have successfully completed two DBT sanctioned projects in a scheduled time line with flying colours that culminated into the Ph I clinical development of project. Strategic planning and execution of weekly activities as well as discussion of scientific output in presence of advisory board and other renowned scientists help us to reach our objectives
