Physico Chemical Department
The Physico-Chemical Department provides analytical support to varied activities of Research and Development like in vitro / in vivo Dose Standardization, Pharmacokinetic studies in Animals and Humans, Clinical trials, Quality control activities of API and Formulation Manufacture and Process Development. The department has state-of-the-art analytical instruments complying CFR requirements.
This Facility has controlled environment of 3500 Sq. and equipment capable of undertaking characterization of the therapeutic substance. Laboratory also has a wet chemistry facility with microwave assisted digestion for sample preparation and other major laboratory equipment like Melting point, Karl-Fischer apparatus, etc. The facility also generates its own high purity acids for testing with quartz distillation apparatus
